Finally I tried a paper-style layout. I tried to keep it minimalistic and organized. Thats why I didn't use any pictures, just simple vectors for everything. Not quite as stunning as other paper layouts out there, but well, its still alright.

Fonts: Sketchy (Header), Architext (Links), Trebuchet MS & Century Gothic
Patterns: Grid from Rockable.de[link] ruled sheet was mine
Inspirations: Web Designer Wall[link] & his tutorial for the water-color effect on the paper

Are there seriously that many paper layouts out there? I was trying to be original in making my new blog layout but it's turning out to be just another paper/desk design...

cool one. it really looks like a real paper.
you can also try putting the links at the top in style of tags, u know. that would look cool.
but i don't know the limits of webdesigning. just a suggestion. : )

this is really good!! one small suggestion though.. the paper clip.. maybe you could use a real one.. or make this better?
