I'm in my second semester now. We get such an impossible amount of assignments that it leaves no time to breathe. But I try my best to squeeze in some time to spend on dA and I do usually succeed.

God bless dA for revamping the message center! It was a crucially needed update! Personally, I am a bit uncomfortable with the footer, but all in all for me, this is a really good version so far. And thumbnails in the deviantWATCH totally made life easier. 2 thumbs up!


Real Life Updates »
I just returned from a week-long vacation in Nainital. It was an amazing seven days amid the beautiful mountains and breath-taking sceneries, in true contrast with Delhi. I have to admit though, that I am mighty grateful of living in the city. A week is bliss, but actually living in the mountains is beyond me.

Also, come 28 July and I will finally be a student of Communication Design at NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology), Delhi. I coudn't have asked for a better way to spend the next 4 years.
So now I am preparing for college and getting around the fact that soon I won't have a lot of time for idle designing and dA. D:

Yep! Finally - finally - I am done with the website I have been working on for like months!

Its my personal website with a Blog and a Gallery of my Graphic/Web designs. Might not materialize, but on the anvil is a downloads section with templates and such.

When I started out with just a PSD of the supposed layout, I had no idea that actually coding it, my modest coding skills not withstanding , would take up months. But, well, its time well spent, and the amount of coding I have learned with this single website is worth ten. Although, I don't think I'm gonna update the layout for a really long while.

The blog is in WordPress [link] so I let the whole website be powered by WP, which, I have realised, was a very wise decision. So, the layout is now a WordPress theme. Having a decent CMS really simplified a lot of things (although, made other things more complex ).

Well, am just relieved that this is out of the way...
